Installation

Download evaluation version of Softabar Command Line Email Client and unzip it to a directory. This software requires Java 5.0. Please download it from java.sun.com or java.com if you do not have it already. When you unzip Softabar Command Line Email Client you have the following directory structure:

SCLEC-1.7.1
     |---bin
     |---doc
     |---etc
     |---lib
     |---license
     |---log

bin-directory includes binaries required for launching the application. Execute application from the bin directory. Execute application using java -cp . LauncherBootstrap sclec <options>. See USAGE file in bin-directory.

doc-directory has README.TXT file and NOTICE file.

etc-directory has a configuration file. You do not need to change this file.

lib-directory has required jar-files for the application.

license-directory has the license file.

log-directory includes runtime log file.

Install license

Install license using -licensekey and -email options.

For example:

SCLEC.bat -licensekey abcdef1234567890 -email [EMAIL ADDRESS]

License information is checked and saved to user home directory.
